Sample Do’s and Don’ts for students at The Village:

Here are some important guidelines for your visits there from Gail Chavez, LLI Site Coordinator:

• Parking is available in a multi-story garage diagonally across from the Village on 46th St. There is an elevator on the north side of the garage. Access to the upper floors of the garage is via the second entrance as you drive West from the Village on 46th St.

  • Do not park in the Rehab center's parking lot, south of the Village -- they will tow you!

• Students should show up no more than 15 minutes early for class and go to the classroom immediately. Please do not hang around in the lobby area. Mornings are busy and students need to be out of the way of those serving residents.

• LLI only has access to the classroom (The Commons) and the restrooms across the hall from there. Please don't go exploring.

• Coffee is NOT available to students from the Cafe in the Village. The Café is for residents’ use only.

• Students may bring drinks into the classroom, but they MUST be lidded, to avoid spills.
