This course is conducted entirely in Spanish and is designed for persons with moderate proficiency in the language. The first hour includes student presentations on articles (or reports) of interest, grammar, and vocabulary followed by discussions on these presentations. The second hour of class is dedicated to small group question and answer conversations on the weekly book readings. This course is continued informally by students to extend this Spanish program throughout the year.
This semester the class will read El Olvido Que Seremos by Héctor Abad Faciolince. Both paperback and Kindle editions of the book are available on Amazon.com. Limit 30.
